Dogobie Disc April 16, 2008 Reviewer: Chris from New Lambton, NSW Australia   At first I was not particularly impressed with this disc (it looks like a wobbly tupperware lid) and you have to throw it quite hard to get decent flight but it has proved to be an EXTREMELY durable dog disc. It has lasted about 50 catch sessions with my kelpie 'Peanut' without so much as a significant tooth mark let alone a tear (I reckon it will last for at least 6 months being used every day! - maybe longer - no kidding!!). It does take a bit of practice to throw and isn't a long distance disc (nor does it hover well) but it works very nicely in windy conditions owing to its underwhelming lift characteristics (tends to cut through the wind without buffeting) and is perfect for the beach because it floats. Great as a trusty backup disc when all the fastbacks get chewed out! Was this review helpful to you?
