Other Tasks

Volunteers Needed!

Sponsorship—we are always happy to get help from players in looking for sponsors. You too can sponsor the event! Add a bit of cash to your registration fee if you are able and note that it is a sponsorship donation. Sponsor money will go to adding quality to the player packets, food on site, and evening activities. If you want a break down of expenses for the tournament, let us know.

Equipment— there is a lot of equipment needed to run events such as SCF, distance, and discathon. We will need someone who is willing to keep track of it, set it up and clean it up after each event.

Auction— Paul Thompson and Stork will likely be the men in charge here, but if you are a great salesman or saleswoman, please let us know and we'll put you to work. Also, we'll need a couple of people to help with the money and stuff as things are bid on.

Photography—We need someone with a digital camera and picture taking ability and computer know-how to be sure we get some great daily shots to put on the web site, email to the press, and to use in the thank you letters to sponsors. We also need someone to organize a nice group photo!

The Daily Howl— Rodney Sanchez will be in charge of this but, anyone want to gather and write up stories and get them typed up and printed out each day, or every other day? This also could include stories for the web site so folks at home can hear what's going on.

Outreach for MIA Wolves (Missing in action folks) - Anyone want to try to contact the folks who use to be regulars (or not so regular, but we miss `em) and talk them into coming out to beautiful, woodsy Wisconsin in 2003?

Local Links– If you are a local (Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota) please consider visiting your local schools, afterschool programs, recreation clubs, and senior centers to drum up interest in the Worlds Championship. Give them demos, send out flyers, put up posters! Registration
