Description

The Envy is a slightly overstable putt and approach disc.

The Envy has a smooth modern feel that fits in the hand perfectly, lending confidence for both putt and approach duties. The Envy exhibits reliable high-speed stability and a minimal fade. With a slightly lower profile and cruising speed than the Ion and Anode class, the Envy is a uniquely "lid like" stable putter.

Speed: 3, Glide: 3, Turn: 0, Fade: 2

5 of 5 Axiom Proton Envy March 13, 2016
Reviewer: Joseph Woellhof from Harlingen, TX United States
First, I like the proton plastic.  It looks gorgeous, always get oohs and ahs from my friends.  The solid structure holds up here in the heat of south Texas and never gets floppy, like some of the softer plastics I have tried.
Second, the lid-like build feels comfortable in my hand and helps me put an accurate, flat spin on the disc.  It seems to always go right where I want it to, and has made this disk the only putter I seem to be able to shoot any course under par with.
Third, this disk never seems to over shoot my target.  I can tee off, approach, or putt, it will hold my line, and it will reliably fade slightly and drop, which makes it perfect for both putts and approaches.
Fourth, I trust this disk in any wind condition.
Fifth, I have not been able to master the forearm throw with this disk, often over powering and pushing it over hard, but it is still more stable than any other putter I have tried.
