The Discmania FD3 is the most stable fairway driver in our Originals line. For many players it will be an utility driver that only comes out in specific situations, like in strong headwinds or to cut tight corners. For players with more arm speed, it will hold a straight line for a longer time, before the inevitable fade.
The FD3 is targeted everyone who can appreciate an overstable driver you can trust in all conditions. The FD3 features an aerodynamic low profile and a very comfortable concave lower rim. The initial release comes with vibrant C-line material that endures wear very well and provides an awesome grip. The flightnumbers for the FD3 are set at 9, 4, 0, 3. Despite being very close to our best-selling PD (Power Driver) in terms of flight ratings, the FD3 offers noticeably more overstable flight pattern. This disc can be used for everything from touch sidearms that get you out of trouble to full power drives off the tee. You can always rely on FD3’s long but powerful and forward-penetrating fade.

Flight-wise, this Metal Flake C-line run could be described as the everyman’s FD3. It packs plenty of high speed stability and solid low-speed fade, but compared to some of the beefiest FD3 runs of the past, these tend to fly a bit more neutral. The Luster C-line FD3's of the past should provide a solid point of comparison for these for those who are familiar with that limited run from 2017. Pair this with a Neo Splice from our Evolution line up to achieve the perfect balance of overstable fairway arsenal for your bag.

  • C-Line: Our most durable plastic, these discs wear down very slowly. C-Line discs retain original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, the C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage better than any other plastic. Good grip and showstopper see-through look. Typically the most stable blend of plastic in our line.
