3 of 5 My Experience With the Star Line Wraith May 7, 2007

I have to agree with the other poster on this disc.  I was also disappointed in my performance when using it.  I get my best distance with either an Orc or a Sidewinder, so I tend to use those for drives unless it's a shorter hole.  I also prefer the "Champion" material to the "Star" material.  Not sure why, only know that this is true for me.  I've been playing a long time, but the weakest part of my game is my drive (I do not have long arms and am only 5'6").  I'm told I have good technique, but physics are physics.

I will keep using my wraith hoping to have a break through with it, but I certainly do not expect to based upon early results.

3 of 5 Not what I thought May 22, 2006

When I first started to understand the disc ratings from innova, I I saw that the Wraith had an unbelieveable speed of 11! I thought that this was the disc that was going shave off a stroke off each hole for me. Looking back it is very understand and not as accurate. It could be something mental for me or maybe in the way that I'm throwing. But it is very understable. If you're looking for a great and predictable drive, then look down a few grades to the Star SL.
